Fantasy Blogosphere: November 8, 2009

A quiet week overall in the fantasy book blogosphere, but I did come across a few video game/film crossovers that got me excited. We’ve got a review of an older Robert Jordan book, and a few more interviews, fallout from last week’s release of The Gathering Storm.

The Prince of Persia movie looks really well done:

and if this isn’t the best pre-release promotion for a video game ever, I’m not sure what is:

The Gathering Storm turns into a blogosphere hurricane this week, appearing across many different sites in the fantasy blogosphere, and a few outside as well. Rounding out a full serving of fantasy for your appetite this week are interviews with David Anthony Durham and R.A. Salvatore. Happy Halloween!

We’ve got a very healthy swath of reviews this week, maybe due to the fact that I spent the weekend in Serra do Cipo, so a few of these may reach back to before last weekend.  Either way, you can’t lose with reviews of books by Scott Lynch, Ken Scholes, Janny Wurts, Dan Brown and plenty more.  A pair of interviews with R.A. Salvatore and Andy Remic are featured, with Remic discussing his most recent novel Kell’s Legend.

Ever want to have your name featured in a fantasy novel?  Patrick Rothfuss is giving fans this opportunity.  Check out the link below for more details.
