This week we’ve got a review of one of my favorite fantasy reads so far this year: Lamentation by Ken Scholes. Also check out the interview with Jim Butcher over at SciFiNow. A classic Frazetta sold for 1.5 million over the past week, and Tor made the cover art of Brandon Sanderson’s A Way of Kings available as desktop wallpapers, so grab ’em while they’re hot!

Fantasy Blogosphere: April 4, 2010

Do we have some golden eggs this week? I think so! Its Easter, and we’ve found reviews of books by Brandon Sanderson, Guy Gavriel Kay, Daniel Abraham and more. Also, check out an interview with George R.R. Martin and Daniel Abraham, and get GRRM’s most recent update on the 2011 Song of Ice & Fire calendar. Those calendars are so hard to find! I ordered my 2009 one on Amazon.com, only to receive an e-mail from Amazon three months into the year that they gave up trying to fill stock. Happy Easter!

Fantasy Blogosphere: October 18, 2009

We’ve got a very healthy swath of reviews this week, maybe due to the fact that I spent the weekend in Serra do Cipo, so a few of these may reach back to before last weekend.  Either way, you can’t lose with reviews of books by Scott Lynch, Ken Scholes, Janny Wurts, Dan Brown and plenty more.  A pair of interviews with R.A. Salvatore and Andy Remic are featured, with Remic discussing his most recent novel Kell’s Legend.

Ever want to have your name featured in a fantasy novel?  Patrick Rothfuss is giving fans this opportunity.  Check out the link below for more details.
