Mark your calendars, kiddies. This is the first week any author has owned all 5 top slots since I started tracking the Amazon.com top 5 bestselling fantasy novels on a weekly basis. The first four books in George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series make up 4 of the top 5 slots, with the fifth slot being filled by the collection of all 4 novels. For good measure, A Dance with Dragons, the fifth novel in the series, is currently in both 6th and 7th in hardcover and paperback form. Bravo, Senor Martin, Bravo.
