Amazon’s Top 5 Fantasy Books, May 22, 2011

Mark your calendars, kiddies. This is the first week any author has owned all 5 top slots since I started tracking the Amazon.com top 5 bestselling fantasy novels on a weekly basis. The first four books in George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series make up 4 of the top 5 slots, with the fifth slot being filled by the collection of all 4 novels. For good measure, A Dance with Dragons, the fifth novel in the series, is currently in both 6th and 7th in hardcover and paperback form. Bravo, Senor Martin, Bravo.

  1. A Game of Thrones (Kindle) by George R.R. Martin
  2. A Clash of Kings (Kindle) by George R.R. Martin
  3. A Storm of Swords (Kindle) by George R.R. Martin
  4. George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire 4-Book Boxed Set (Paperback) by George R.R. Martin
